This has been a topic for thought in my house🤔...

Once haven made the decision for the whole family to be vegan, there were alot of lifestyle changes to be made.

One is my children's school lunch. Its a great way to make sure my children are having nutritious food at school but I have come upon some snags here and there. Mainly what they will eat and won't eat at school. They both like different styles of Vegan food.

The youngest, the 7yr. Old, would like tofu and Korean soup specifically in his lunch pack every day if possible. While the oldest, 11yr. Old, like burritos chips and popcorn on his lunch pack. So I try to stick to a middle ground.

I switch it up all the time, for example...

  • White rice (soy sauce optional)

  • 1/2 of a vegan Burrito

  • Tomatoe Pasta Soup

  • Vegan Stir fried rice

  • 1/2 Peanut butter sandwich

  • Different styles of pastas

  • Mexican Red rice w/Guacamole

  • Guacamole /tortilla chips

  • Air popcorn

  • Fruits

  • Apples for example

  • Bananas

  • Strawberries

  • Grapes

  • Raisins

  • Vegetables for example

  • Black olives

  • Carrots

  • Cucumber

  • Cooked Broccoli

For their drink I give them Almond Chocolate Milk every other day instead of water for their lunch time. I tried Almond Milk on its own but they didn't like it by itself 😁. They only drink it with cereal. I plan on intergrating ice tea soon into the mix of options.

I will keep working on new lunch ideas for my family.

Wish me luck!
